Dr Joy Clarkson is a research associate in theology and literature at King's College London, and the books and culture editor at Plough Quarterly. She hosts Speaking with Joy, a podcast exploring the intersections of culture and theology, often through conversation with artists, scholars, and writers.
Joy discovered Frederick Buechner in the confusing days of her early twenties and found in his writing an honesty about the world that was refreshing and hopeful. His works have continued to inspire her own writing on theology, literature, and culture.
