Welcome to

The Buechner Review [‘24-‘25]

An annual publication, delivered in monthly installments, dedicated to the life, work, themes, and theology of Revd Frederick Buechner.

On behalf of the Frederick Buechner Center, I am delighted to introduce the second edition of The Buechner Review, 2024-25.

Following in the footsteps of those who contributed to our inaugural edition, the members of our second cohort, featured below, have been carefully selected to reflect the broad interests, deep values, and cross-cultural, cross-genre, cross-medium reach of Revd Frederick Buechner. As before, among our contributors for the coming year you will find an eclectic mixture of novelists and poets, myth-makers and artists, Biblical scholars and preachers.

Look out for a new article on the second Tuesday of each month, posted here on our website, and shared across our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. If you would prefer to have each article sent to your email, you can sign up here.

We, the Friends of Buechner ‘24-‘25, wish you calm sailing and happy reading.
